Das Schicksal dieser Miniv\u00f6lker &#8211; ihre Tiefen und ihre H\u00f6hen &#8211; und die Arbeit der christlichen Mission vor Ort bei ihnen sollen vorgestellt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Aus der Erinnerung heraus h\u00e4tte dieses Buch heute nicht mehr geschrieben werden k\u00f6nnen. Tageb\u00fccher hat es nie gegeben. Die wesentliche Quelle der Informationen sind aufgehobene Briefe, ein riesiger Berg davon, offizieller und auch pers\u00f6nlicher Art. Geschrieben wurden sie ab 1963 \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von mehr als 40 Jahren.<\/p>\n<p>In unterhaltsamer Erz\u00e4hlform wird auf diesen Bl\u00e4ttern von Fakten berichtet, die informativ sind und hoffentlich auch das Herz ber\u00fchren. Wozu Mission geschieht, wie sie sich gestaltet und was sie in unserer Welt \u00fcberhaupt bedeutet, diese Themen sollen zumindest ber\u00fchrt werden.
